BMW 7 Series

The long version of the BMW 7 Series is 14 centimetres longer than the short version - and all of this is used to increase space and comfort in the rear. The new BMW 7 Series has hit the market in four unique design platforms namely. E67 that was a high security version, E66 with extended wheel base, and standard wheel base E65 version.  

The rear door is noticeably bigger, making it significantly easier to enter the vehicle. The interior is the most generously sized in the luxury sedan class, and the roofline and C-pillar have been redesigned to provide additional headroom, for a feeling of greater spaciousness.

BMW released 7-series cars in 2007 model year featuring small modifications in both the regions of exterior and interior region. In April 2009, the new model 760Li was formally publicized by the BMW.

Coming to the E23 version, it is provided with only 4- speed automatic transmission. In the era of 1994-2001, the model E38 was released with 5-speed manual transmission.
 The models in the European markets were 7401, 740d, 730d, 725tds, 725tds, and the 750i that generated 240 kilo watts of power.The F02 and the F01 versions were launched in January 2009 in the form of 5th generation models as a substitution to the 7-series versions belonging to 4th generation. These cars are paired with 6- speed ZF automatic transmission.

 BMW Group will sell over 120,000 vehicles in China this year and expand the annual capacity of their Shenyang-based plants to 400,000 units in the future, state media said on Thursday.
New BMW automobiles, including BMW Mini E, the long-wheelbase BMW 5 Series Sedan, BMW ActiveE, BMW X6 and BMW 7 Series Active Hybrid will have a bright future in the market.
"As the demand for BMW cars booming, we will increase the annual capacity of the first factory to 75,000 units this year,” added Daniel Kirchert.
The capacity of the first factory may increase to 100,000 before 2013, according to BMW Brilliance. The total capacity of the two factories will increase to 200,000 units after the second factory finished, and to 400,000 units in the future.
BMW Automobile Sales Booms in the Chinese Market
China’s sales of automobiles reached 13,644,800 units in 2009, overtaking the U.S. as the world's biggest auto market, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

CAAM forecasted that the nation’s sales of automobiles will reach 15 million vehicles, increasing 10% from the 2009 level. But securities companies, including the Beijing-based Huatai United Securities, raised the expected number to 16.5-17 million units.
In passenger car sector, German brands, including BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, totally sold 1,458,300 cars in China in 2009, accounting for 14% of the market. BMW sold 90,536 vehicles in China in 2009, increasing 38% from the 2008 level and accounting for 7.5% of their total sales in the global market.

BMW Brilliance is a joint venture owned by the Shenyang-based Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Limited (CBA) and the BMW Group. It set up the first factory, which mainly produces BMW 3 and 5 series, in 2004 with an annual capacity of 30,000 units. The capacity increased to 41,000 units in the last five years.The 2010 BMW 7-series cars are equipped with a 3.0 liter 6- cylinder engine finished with the aluminum material and churn out 183 kilo watts of power, and torque of 400 lb ft at 1,750 rotations per minute.To upgrade the handling efficiency of the car, the twin wishbone replaces the front suspension McPherson strut. The latest version is offered with the combination of iDrive system and several other advanced functionalities.
Other products that will soon come to the Chinese market include the new long-wheelbase BMW 5 Series Sedan, BMW ActiveE, BMW X6, and BMW 7 Series Active Hybrid, according to th dinesh report
BMW will launch a series of new cars to boost their sales in China. For example, the German carmaker anticipates high demand for electric cars in the market and is set to deliver 50 units of its MINI E to China as a field trial by this year.
